843 FC

Family. Integrity. Growth.

Family first, football second.

We prioritize mental, personal, and physical health over football. 843 FC is not an organized football (soccer) club. It is a mentoring program that uses particpation in sports to teach intergrity and responsibility.

We use football to instill our ethos in our players.

Every dollar you spend or donate goes towards mentoring youth and to help alleviate the cost associated with particiation in sports that so many families struggle with.

The Playbook: Creating Tangible Pathways to Higher Education

1. The Core Philosophy: Moving Beyond Traditional Mentorship

While traditional mentorship focuses primarily on relationship-building and soft skills, our program treats athletics as a vehicle for concrete socio-economic mobility.

  • The Status Quo: Mentorship alone rarely provides the financial means to attend college.

  • The Club Sports Gap: College athletic recruiters primarily scout at elite "travel" or "club" tournaments, not local recreational leagues. These club teams often cost thousands of dollars per season, completely boxing out at-risk youth.

  • Our Solution: We break down the financial and systemic barriers to elite club sports, combining that high-level exposure with mental training to build the mental fortitude required to secure and succeed on a college scholarship.

We began with the idea of starting our own soccer club. That just isn’t where my expertise is. Thankfully, I met Coach Robert at Nosa Football Club. He is the director of Nosa and his mentality is exactly what I want these young kids involved with. So I evolved 843 into a 501c3 nonprofit organization that would partner with Nosa for those interested in club and still be able to work with and mentor those players to make sure they can reach their full potential through mental training.

2. Phase 1: The Foundation (Mindset & Mechanics)

Before placing youth in high-pressure club environments, we equip them with the mental tools to handle adversity, both on the field and in life.

  • Mentality Integration: Teaching emotional regulation, anxiety management, and cognitive reframing. This isn't just "life skills"—it's elite sports psychology applied to everyday survival and academic focus.

  • Behavior Management: We hold players accountable for their behavior on and off the field. Having athletic ability or sports skills are secondary. If someone lacks the tools and the skills to manage life responsibly, then they will only make it so far. However, someone with the tools and skills to manage life well, will succeed in whatever area of life or career they find themselves in.

  • Skill Assessment & Development: Partnering with local coaches to assess athletic potential and build foundational sports skills, ensuring they are ready to compete at the club level.

  • Academic Baseline: Establishing tutoring and GPA tracking immediately. A sports scholarship is useless without the grades to qualify for NCAA eligibility.

3. Phase 2: The Pipeline (Club Integration)

This is where the program diverges from standard nonprofits. We don't just host weekend clinics; we integrate our youth into the systems where recruiters are already looking.

  • Club Partnerships: Forming strategic alliances with established, high-tier club teams. We are currently working with Nosa Football Club, a long established local club, as our vehicle.

  • Financial Sponsorship: Covering the prohibitive costs of elite sports: club fees, travel expenses, hotel stays, uniforms, and equipment.

  • Logistical Support: Providing transportation to practice facilities and out-of-state tournaments, removing the logistical hurdles that prevent at-risk youth from participating.

4. Phase 3: The Scholarship Strategy (Recruitment & Placement)

Getting them on the team is step one; getting them noticed is step two. We actively manage their recruitment journey.

  • Recruitment Profiles: Helping students build recruitment profiles, film highlight reels, and write professional emails to college coaching staff.

  • NCAA Clearinghouse Navigation: Guiding families through the complex NCAA eligibility and amateurism certification process.

  • Test Prep & Academic Advising: Providing targeted ACT/SAT prep and ensuring high school course selections align with college admission standards.

5. Phase 4: College Transition & Beyond

The goal isn't just to get them to college, but to get them through college.

  • The Mental Edge: The mental tools they learned in Phase 1 become their survival kit for the intense pressure of life, collegiate athletics, and academics.

  • Alumni Network: Long term, we will have our college athletes return to mentor the younger cohorts, showing them that the pathway is real and achievable.

Why Donors Should Care (The ROI)

Funding a traditional mentor might cost $1,000 a year for "improved behavior." Funding a year of club sports for a talented athlete might cost $3,000, but it yields a $100,000+ four-year college scholarship and a transformed family trajectory.

Thank you for your support!

Invest in dreams! Club soccer can get expensive so many kids never get the opportunity to reach the highest levels they could. For example, it can easily cost $3000 a year per player. Every dollar donated or spent at 843 FC goes towards scholarships for players who would not be able to afford it otherwise. We also use this money for other opportunities for the kids. Our ultimate goal is to put youth into structured environments where they receive life coaching to learn responsibility and integrity.
